When Mommy went home to Chicago (where she grew up) for her baby shower, she found all kinds of fun stuff to bring me from her own childhood. Grandma Jean let her take one of Mommy's favorite pictures in the house - of three kitties that used to be hung in the basement. Also Grandma Jean found Mommy's old pull string music box that used to help Mommy go to sleep. Mommy also brought back her old baby and doll blankets and some vintage clothes/accessories for me to play dress up when I get older. Mommy and Auntie E used to dress up in these things when they were little girls.
